Adventures in Scratchland: Making Games Using Scratch

March 3, 2011 at 9:35 pm 5 comments

C-Cubed has been together for a couple of months now, and we’re halfway done with our first project.  To keep it relatively simple we’re using Scratch, a 2-D programming language from MIT. It’s easy to learn since it works like a drag-and-drop puzzle, but the best part is that it’s free to download here.

Our game follows the adventures of Michi, a teenager who gets sucked into a video game.  Now the challenge is to find a way out, but Michi isn’t the only one in the game.  The game has caught other players, too, and they each have their own motivations. . . .

Video coming soon!
