Crossing the Finish Line

As you may know, it was our goal this summer to make and submit a video to the teen film festival in our area.  To make that goal, we worked really hard to finish a two-minute commercial about C-Cubed.  It was close, but we did it!  And, thanks to Purin, we submitted it to the contest on time!  Three cheers for Purin-sama!

So why, you may ask, did we wait until the days before the deadline, with the clock ticking ever closer, and the pressure and stress mounting ever higher with each passing minute?  It’s ’cause we work well under pressure. 🙂

Truth is, we ran out of time.  Our first idea for the film festival, a ten-minute OVA animated with Pencil-Animation, was simply too ambitious for the two months before the deadline.  See, by the time we learned enough about animation to start on the project, it was too late.  😦  So we made the commercial instead!

Anyway, the ceremony is next Saturday (that is, the thirteenth).  Until then, the Studio is going to be full of suspense. . . . Will we win the grand prize?  Or will we simply be another set of hopefuls. . . ?  I can hardly wait to find out!

Wish us luck!
