Silence and Fate Saga

Earlier this week, we had more problems with the internet–so no posts.  (Gee, for a club that’s kinda dependent on the internet, we seem to have a lot of problems. . . .) However, today it’s working!  And we’re all elated, even though it’s dark and rainy outside.

Purin and Koko-chan aren’t here today.  Despite the fact that two of our more exhuberant members are missing, we have already had an exciting event!

*cue: melodrama*

There’s a virus loose in the Studio!  We’ve managed to hunt it down and contain it on a flash drive.  Still, it might be dangerous.  Is this the end for our technological safety in the Studio?!?!?

Okay, that was over-the-top.  (Even I admit it.)  I’m a bit worried that we might’ve lost our latest work on Gameland, but other than that, it’s quiet. (I mean, Emi and Purin aren’t arguing as usual.)  We’re all working diligently.

As an aside, there’s this really cool project that I’ve been following called Fate Saga.  Fate Saga’s about Cain, a knight who can see the future–and in the case of one town, it’s not good.  He tries to change it, but can one man really stop fate. . . ?

Fate Saga is an original animated series idea by freelance animator Dana Corrigan.  Right now, she and her team are working on the pilot/pitch proposal.  I went to a panel on animation by Ms. Corrigan this summer, and I think that she has a good chance of convincing a production company to fund Fate Saga.  If you have time, check it out!
