Ah, the Sound of Music: Part Two

Over the past few days, Emi and I worked on the music for Spider Hitler.  The good news is that Emi composed the first couple of measures for the ending theme, “Memories”.  Not only that, but the music sounds great.  Three cheers for Emi-kun!

The bad news is that we haven’t written any lyrics.  Oh well.  Luckily, out tentative deadline is July 2012, so that gives us plenty of time.  (Yes, I’m an optimist.)

Now, who’s wondering why we’re spending so much time on something that is, quite frankly, an extra?  Wouldn’t we be better off doing character designs, or practicing animating a picture, or editing the script?

Well, we aren’t just spending time on the music.  It’s just the most troublesome part of the project right now, so when something good does happen (like Emi-kun composing a few measures), it’s a cause for celebration.  So again:  Three cheers for Emi-kun!

As for the rest of it, it’s coming along nicely.  Emi has almost finished the character designs (some of which will be added to the
Spider Hitler Character List page soon), the background sketches are drawn and ready to be finalized, and as for practicing animation, Emi’s an expert of Pencil!  So we’re doing good.

In other news, the meeting this Thursday is canceled, so there probably won’t be an update.  But we’ll be back on Monday, so see you then!

antivibration oildampened floating suspension prevents sound skipping, even when the player is subjected to impact during use or vibrations generated from high volume music and low frequency bass.

Thanks for the tip! We’ll keep this in mind when we start recording. 🙂
