The Christmas Party Part One: Cookies!

December 16, 2011 at 4:51 pm 3 comments

Yesterday we were all set to act serious and save our holiday merry-making for Monday, when Dots wheels in a cart filled with laptops, a camera. . . and cookies!  So we spend the meeting decorating cookies, and used the camera to take the lovely pictures below.

ThePeanutGallery finished with his cookie first.  It’s a. . . . Quick-Yet-Awesome Smiley Face!

Peanut's Cookie

This is what happens when the sweet cookie temptation is too much to resist.

Next was Emi-kun.  And she did. . . . Her Signature!

Emi's Cookie

A cutely scribbled signature.

Next up is Purin’s cookie.  And it’s. . . drumroll, please. . . .  An Abstract Christmas Tree!

Again, the temptation won.

For Cloud’s cookie, we have. . .  Santa Claus!

Isn't he cute?

And finally, I, River, made. . . Mrs. Claus!

River's Cookie

Such a sweet face!

We each made (or, as the case may be, ate) another cookie or two, but these were definitely the best.  It was a lot of fun, and I laughed so hard that my stomach hurt.

Now, I know that in my last post, I said that we would learn to use the cameras so that we would be ready to film the Own the Night video.  In my defense, we did use the camera. . . maybe not in the way that I intended, but we did use it, and I now know its basic functions.

Anyway, we’re going to have Part Two of the Christmas party on Monday.  See you then, and hope you all have a great holiday!
