Website Review: Kerpoof

Hi again!  River here!  Today I want to share a cute site with you that our advisor, Dots, showed us!

First, maybe I should explain something.  Our summer classes were so successful that they’re extended into the fall.  The members of the club didn’t expect this, and we were shocked when we heard at the end of summer.  However, it’s a good move for our sponsers, so we try to help out when we can.

Every month, Dots has a different activity lined up.  And this month, we’re encouraging kids to explore Kerpoof!

What’s Kerpoof, you ask?

It’s this cute little website run by Disney where kids can practice their spelling, direct a short movie, write a storybook. . . it’s a lot of fun.  Though it’s directed at eighth graders and younger, someone older like me can have a lot of fun, too.   Though I only played in the name of research. . . . XP

When you play the games, you earn points that you can use to buy add-ons for the games (extra characters and soundtracks for the movies, for example).  Users can also create an account on the site to save thir points and extras, and only need to provide a username, password, and parent’s email address.

Want to check out Kerpoof for yourself?  Just go here:

Have fun!
